Accelerated Corneal Crosslinking

Corneal crosslinking is a treatment designed to strengthen a cornea weakened by keratoconus or ectasia. During this procedure, riboflavin is applied to the surface of the eye and activated with ultraviolet light, reinforcing the corneal structure and stopping its deformation.

At Perfect Vision, we use AVEDRO Accelerated Crosslinking, which allows the procedure to be performed in just 15 minutes, with quick recovery and no significant discomfort. It can be performed alone or combined with intracorneal rings to achieve greater stability and improve visual outcomes.
